I had the pleasure of standing with this amazing couple on Sunday at The Captains Club of Woodfield in Grand Blanc Michigan.
Their love for each other was evident in a quiet laid back sort of way and they chose to include their community in their ceremony. They asked different family and friends to take part in the processional rather than having a traditional bridal party. They also asked their parents for their blessing and support before beginning the ceremony. But, one of the sweetest moments was asking their mothers to be witnesses to signing their marriage license.
During the ceremony, just before they were pronounced as husband and wife they chose to sign their marriage license, kind of in place of a unity ceremony. During this, we invited their mothers forward and we all stood right in the center of the gazebo and signed their marriage license. It was a sweet moment captured perfectly by their photographers Carah and Brittni!
