Yesterday I had the pleasure of Officiating two elopement ceremonies.
The first ceremony was in Depot Park in downtown Clarkston. The park has a covered Gazebo and if that is in use their are so many beautiful open areas available to use. This couple had just a few friends and family along to witness their sweet little ceremony. The bride shed a few tears and both were so very happy to be able to declare they were husband and wife.
The second elopement was in the couples own backyard with their children standing as witnesses; one child was even enjoying the ceremony via Skype! (gotta love technology). The couple took time to write their own ceremony and chose such loving words to unite them in marriage. It was a pleasure to stand witness to their love for each other. The groom got a little chocked up when reciting his vows and that always makes me feel the emotion for them; it's a pleasure to have pronounced you husband and wife!
