Congratulations to Carrie and John on your wedding Sunday! As I stood with the groom I could just feel his excitement and joy - it was a wonderful day. The couple had a intimate wedding ceremony at the Royal Park Hotel in the conservatory - which is an awe inspiring location. They shared their vows and exchanged rings and smiled the whole time.
Thank you for allowing me to share in your joy.
If you have never seen the Royal Park Hotel Conservatory then you are missing out - this venue is so beautiful with the all glass walls and roof and then the space opens to a little garden and fountain that on a cool summer day offer a wonderful place to sip a cocktail. The staff at Royal Park always goes above and beyond for every couple. Truly a great place to have a wedding or any event.
Karlie and Shawn were so in love you may have been a bit teary eyed during their ceremony. The two shared their affection for each other through carefully selected vows and ceremony readings. The groom teared up and the bride teared up and both smiled endlessly with joy.
I am so honored that you chose me - thank you!
The staff at Dunham Hills was suburb! They were on top of everything, making sure the venue was perfect and that the ceremony went off without a hitch. Great Job!
Although I missed a photo of the happy couples heres a few details for you.
Patty and Jim - what an amazing story of love and trust and commitment. These two shared their special ceremony with family and friends in the intimate setting of the Whitney in Detroit, atop the staircase the guests viewed the ceremony from the balcony.
It was a dramatic setting and such a joy to spend the afternoon with you guys.
Congrats and I wish you both many happy days to come.
It was a beautiful day even though the rain could not make up it's mind and kept threatening to move our outdoor ceremony inside!
As we stood at the ceremony, I reveled in the emotion that this couple shared with and for each other, their excited smiles and tears of joy could not be contained.
It was truly a pleasure to work with them - Congratulations!
It was such a joy to share the day at Indian Springs Metro Park with this beautiful couple. They came from Chicago and brought such fun and joy to their day.
Indian Springs Metro Park has a beautiful nature center and banquet room and if the weather is cooperating their outdoor ceremony space is stuck right in the middle of a field and is beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your day with me!
Often times you just want a little elopement with a few family members - but where do you have this? Not the courthouse - hmmm...
I tell couples to look to their local favorite restaurant - they may even have a little back room you can use. And generally this is cost effective solution as well.
Feel free to browse the locations on my site as well; /venues-and-pros.html
This weekend I was the wedding officiant for a lovely couple. They chose the Gem Theatre in Detroit, Mi. (the picture below is not them - but great all the same).
The venue was AMAZING! Not only was the ceremony site magnificent...we were on a stage and there was balcony seating!! But the staff was just wonderful. They attended to every little detail and remained on top of it for the entire time I was on site.
I can not wait to show a few pics from their actual wedding - the groom created these amazing wood carvings that the groomsmen wore and he created bracelets for the bridesmaids.
I just did the most lovely intimate wedding ceremony at the Iroquois Club in Bloomfield Hills, Mi.
Having never been there I had no idea what to expect. The entrance is beautiful and very nicely decorated. Once you enter you are greeted by warm tones and a sense of calm. The decor is modern and welcoming. The ceremony I did today was in a beautiful little room with about 10 guests, they were doing a luncheon after the ceremony.
When the ceremony was completed a waiter was right there to take orders for refreshments for the guests. The manager I met was a lovely woman and very helpful.
I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding ceremony and or reception for a small intimate ceremony to up to 280 people.
Saturday I performed a beautiful ceremony for a couple so in love it was a sight to be seen!
The couple chose Millpond Park as their wedding ceremony location in Fenton, Mi. The site has a beautiful gazebo and the backdrop of the water is amazing!
Today I had the pleasure of presiding over a wedding for Sara and Chad at the Whitney in downtown Detroit.
This location offers so much class, sophistication and atmosphere that it has set itself apart from many other local wedding locations in Detroit.
The staff was very friendly and the set up on the patio outdoors was beautiful!
