The Detroit Club is Detroit's oldest social club. It opened to the public last May. It's steeped in tradition and it's original architecture is stunning.
The bride to be phoned me to inquire about an elopement ceremony and as many couples they were not sure how the location was going to shake out but there were sure of the date. 3-3-2019 at 3:33 pm! The bride to be decided on The Detroit Club, they booked the bridal suite and the Club allowed them use of the Presidential ballroom for our short and sweet elopement ceremony.
The warm wood details and huge amazing fireplace lent to a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. We gathered around, the couple, their two witnesses and their daughter. Their guests captured the day with photos and videos.
We sealed the deal by signing the marriage license and they set off to the Whitney to celebrate over dinner.
It was pure joy to spend the afternoon in downtown Detroit discovering a new location and joining a lovely couple in marriage.
