Your wedding day is almost here, you have purchased the dress, the suit, the flowers, picked the perfect venue and selected the most fitting music and food and cake! Now what? Time to put it all together and do a little practicing.
The rehearsal is not required but is suggested. It allows for the couple and the bridal party and the parents to set their minds at ease knowing that they have done their very best to make the wedding day as picture perfect as possible.
At your rehearsal you can expect to practice walking down the aisle, doing a quick run through of the ceremony and practicing any intricate details you have included. You will also practice your exit.
Now, here's where having a professional on hand makes it all the more worthwhile. whether your venue provides a coordinator to run the rehearsal or you do it yourself or you choose best option - hiring me to do all the heavy lifting; these pro's know the in's and out's of a wedding ceremony. We can help you with the little things like, who sits where in the front row? What order do the attendants walk in, are they walking in couples or will the gentlemen be standing at the alter already? Who holds the rings and how do they pass them off to the couple? When you make that final walk down the aisle as newlyweds - where do you walk to? When do you sign the license? Will there be beverages at the ready when you are done? And lastly all the little tips in between that make your ceremony pictures amazing! Things like where do the guys put their hands? Are all the ladies holding their flowers the same? Is the officiant versed in moving out of the picture at all the right moments (the last thing you want is your officiant in the background of your kiss shot!)
When you hire me to run your rehearsal chances are things will run very smoothly, we will address all of your questions and calm all of your nerves, and don't worry it only takes me about 40 minutes to accomplish all of these things - so you can move on to your rehearsal dinner or cocktail party!
